Saturday, November 24th, 2018:   SOPAC's Annual Fundraiser Gala "Dishing Out the 80s"! 

- Our 3rd annual fundraising gala featuring "Gallantry - A Soap Opera" and other performers. The evening was hosted at the Centurion Conference and Event Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. A special thank you to our Sponsors and everyone who joined us for this event!

May 2019:  A mini-bill of Gallantry - A Soap Opera (Douglas Moore) & The Telephone (G. Manotti)

Presented in a mini-bill, these 30 min works are paired together to bring the best comic and dramatic relief this season!

- Gallantry - A light, comic opera will throw you back to the classic 80's television era with a musical rendition of a soap opera!  Love affair, drama, miscommunication and more!

- Paired with Gallantry is one of Gian Carlo Menotti's well known one act operas, The Telephone. A true capture of life today and the trials and tribulation in the age of communication and technology. Join us to find out how one lover defeats his beloved's gift of gab!  Music Director: Tania Granata
